The State Police has revealed today the incident two years ago, in the "Don Bosco" area, where Erion Çela was killed and four others were injured.
According to the police, Kasandre Noga and Kevin Suçi paid for the murder of the GH citizen who was the target of the assassination attempt, but the executioners confused the target by killing Erion Çela.
But how did it all start?
22 years ago, the saga of murders between Kassander Noga and Erjon Hasanbelli began in the Sanatorium hospital, whom the former policeman sought to kill 15 days after he eliminated his friend Mariglen Hodaj. When he did not find him in the hospital, he killed others like Erjon Hasanbelli's father.
The old enmity between the two erupted in 2022 in Belgium in a failed assassination attempt that left Hasanbelli injured and Noga in handcuffs.
The latter was previously convicted by Albanian justice and left Albania at the end of 18 years of imprisonment for the Sanatorium massacre, where he killed Aqif Hasanbelli, the father of Erion Hasanbelli and Dritan Hajdin.
The murders from Albania were moved to Belgium where Erion Hasabelliu executed Julian Çela, co-author with Noga in the massacre of the senate. For this crime, Hasanbelliu is being tried in Albania according to the Belgian letters of order, but for which the justice has not issued an arrest warrant.
For Erjon Hasanbelli, in March 2022 the Supreme Court annulled the verdicts of innocence for him and sent him back for trial to the Vlora Court of Appeal. He is accused of murdering Julian Çela and seriously injuring Kassander Noga.
Elena Bekerman and others who were present at the scene testified to this assassination attempt in Belgium, where Cassander Noga was also targeted. For this file, the Court of Appeals had acquitted Erjon Hasanbelli, while the Supreme Court assessed that the lower courts were contradictory and with significant deficiencies in reasoning, while the evidence against him was submitted by the Belgian justice system.
The case for Erjon Hasanbelli is being retried in absentia on the charge of murder with premeditation for blood feud of Julian Çela and remaining attempted against Kassander Noga. It is not yet known why the prosecution did not request a security measure.
