A 37-year-old man has been arrested by Kurbin police after being caught in a car with firearms, ammunition, and several luxury watches, which he is suspected of having obtained through criminal activities.
According to the police, it is known that the citizen with the initials LH, 37 years old, was criminally prosecuted, and his brother, citizen EH alias ES, 35 years old.
Meanwhile, investigations continue to determine the source of the seized valuables.

As soon as he noticed the Police, he threw the bag with firearms and ammunition from the surrounding wall of his apartment, in the village of Gjormë, and tried to run away. The 37-year-old is arrested. His brother is being prosecuted, after gold jewelry and luxury brand watches were found in his vehicle, with suspicious criminal sources.
The firearm with ammunition and valuables were seized. As a result of the immediate administration of information obtained operationally, about 2 citizens (brothers) suspected of being involved in several criminal activities, the services of the Lezha Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, finalized the operation codenamed "Risk".
As part of the operation, the vehicle driven by citizen EH alias ES was initially stopped for inspection. Gold jewelry and 4 luxury brand watches were found in the vehicle, the source of which is not justified by citizen EH alias ES. Subsequently, a search was conducted in the apartment of this citizen, in the village of Gjormë. As soon as the Police services found out, the brother of citizen EH alias ES, citizen LH threw a bag from the surrounding wall of the apartment and tried to run away. Citizen LH was arrested, and the bag was found, inside which was 1 firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition that was possessed without a permit.
At the end of the procedural actions, citizen LH, 37 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and his brother, citizen EH alias ES, 35 years old, was criminally prosecuted. Meanwhile, investigations continue to determine the source of the seized valuables. The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
