The serious incident that shook Durrës three days ago, where a 56-year-old man attacked his daughter and her work colleague with a knife, has become part of the show 'With an Open Heart' today.
Mikel Ndoj is accused of stabbing his daughter Jensila Ndoj and her colleague, and fled after the serious incident, only to be arrested a few hours later.
In his testimony, the 56-year-old stated that he had gone to his daughter's workplace because she was not answering her phone and that he wanted to reunite with her family, but the young woman refused to accept any further contact with him. He claimed that he was in a serious psychological state and under the influence of alcohol, while expressing remorse for his actions and apologizing to the injured.
Today, a witness has joined the show, who not only witnessed the serious incident that took place on the street, but also knows the family intimately. The young man gave shocking testimony, accusing the girl's father of having planned to kill her for a month.
"It's something repeated. Looking at the person's testimony, it's not true. He had a plan to harm the girl, but also his own girlfriend. They had been divorced for 6 years. He had been out of prison for a month. It wasn't something random, but it had been planned for 1 year. He had come to kill the girl and not to discuss it. He came with a knife, put it to her throat. He didn't come to discuss it, but to kill her. He had also declared it in the neighborhood bars, saying; 'I'll kill them', but they took it very seriously because he was a drunk. Over 8 cm in the boy's throat, he was ready to die. But he survived. And the girl was ready to be killed, but by fighting with her father she saved her throat, but she took him in her arms. The girl has 14 stitches.
The girl's colleague, fortunately, was only 2 mm away from the main artery that could have been fatal. It was a deep 6-7 cm tear. I saw it with my own eyes. I took her to the hospital. The girl and the boy are in good condition now, they are out of danger. The boy was more in danger, but the girl also risked her eye. She has 14 stitches. It was a well-organized plan. Violence has been present in this family. It has been repetitive. There is a protection order for the girl's mother. He always tried to reunite. He would pester the girl for money and in the office as well. Even at the job he had before, he had gone and pestered her, but there the security guards had beaten him. He had more arguments with the girl, he was angry. He was violent towards the girl, but more towards her mother. Because of the violence, the mother and the couple had had quite a few minor problems. The couple has been separated for 6 years. "Unlike the girl, the boy had contact with his father. He was the one who wanted to give him a chance. Goca never wanted to approach him because she knew her father well," said the witness.
