More details have emerged from the tragic accident in Romania, where a van carrying PAOK fans collided with a truck, killing 7 people and injuring 3 others.
According to the latest data, there were two Albanians in the van, where 29-year-old Vasil Palo, originally from Korça, is said to have lost his life. While the other Albanian, Genci Sadiku, fortunately survived and is among the injured.
All the people traveling in this van were between the ages of 25 and 30. According to Romanian authorities, the van attempted to overtake a tanker truck, but collided head-on with another truck.
Emergency helicopters were unable to intervene due to poor weather conditions, while the injured were taken to the Lugoj city hospital.
PAOK club has declared mourning and announced that it will cover all expenses for the return of the bodies and assistance to the injured.
