The footage showing the moment of the serious incident, where one Albanian lost his life and three other compatriots were injured by gunshots, has been published.
A video has been published when the suspected author of the massacre in Frosinone, Italy, Mikea Zeka, opens fire on a group of Albanians, leaving one of them dead and wounding 3 others.
Everything started in the premises of the "Shake" bar on "Aldo Moro" street in Frosinoni, where 4 Albanians sitting at a table started a debate with 5 others of Albanian origin sitting at another table.
After the quarrel between them, 23-year-old Mikea Zeka took out his pistol and fired 10 bullets at the other group, where one of them hit 27-year-old Kasem Kasmi in the chest, who died on the spot, while two other people were injured. .
On the road parallel to Via Aldo Moro, the police seized the car in which the group of attackers had arrived in the center of Frosinone.
At the time of the shooting, there were at least 50 customers in the restaurant.
Terrified by the gunshots, the citizens duck under the tables to escape, while 7 gunshots are heard in the background. There were many family members in the bar, while a mother can be seen taking the stroller with her child and running away from the bar.
Foreign media report that the clash between two Albanians took place over the control of areas for drug trafficking and prostitution, while the author of this event, Mikea Zaka, stated that they had a conflict over a girl.
"I was at the bar with my friends when a car approached. Immediately I saw Ervin and his brother Kasen coming towards me menacingly. I had an old dispute with Kasen for sentimental reasons because of a girl. When the four of them approached our table, they immediately verbally assaulted us and a fight started. At that moment I took the gun and shot. But to protect myself", said the author in front of the blue uniforms, as he expressed regret for the incident that happened.
Event dynamics:
It was almost 19:30 when 4 Albanians get out of a car rented a few days ago and approach a table outside the 'Shake Bar', the heart of nightlife and meeting point for young people in Frosinone, in the central Via Aldo Moro . At the table are five compatriots with whom the discussion quickly degenerates. At stake is the dominance over the drug and prostitution market. In short, we move from words to actions until one of the five, sitting at the table, pulls out a gun and shoots at the four compatriots who arrived by car.
One dead and three injured
One of the shots remains on the ground and dies after about twenty minutes. The other injured were sent to the Frosinone hospital. One of them, in a very serious condition (who was initially given up for dead) was transferred to San Camillo in Rome overnight where he is in intensive care after a bullet hit him in the chest. The conditions of the other two, hit in the legs, however, do not cause concern.
The 23-year-old author Mikea Zeka turned himself in about two hours after the incident. He was interrogated until 03:30 in the morning and is now under arrest for murder and triple attempted suicide. So far, the crime weapon has not been found.
According to the Italian daily, thanks to his testimony, the authorities have managed to unravel a part of the dynamics of the event. Zaka said that he was in the bar with a group of friends when 4 other Albanians arrived at the bar before 19:30. From his testimony, but also from the inspection of the security cameras, it appears that he was shot with a gun from inside the bar. So unlike what was reported that the author had gone with a Lancia Ypsilon type car.
Zaka stated that the weapon is not his, but he took it from the hands of one of the people who entered the bar. But the police is expected to confirm this version after in-depth investigations. According to another track, the two Albanians who drove to the scene are thought to have been equipped with a knife, while the arrested shot to defend himself. Zaka has no criminal record, but only last year he was arrested for drugs in Casermone where he was caught with a large amount of money and suspected of being a courier for a drug gang.
In his testimony, Mikea Zeka has stated that he and the 27-year-old Albanian had a conflict over a girl, while he states that he was attacked so he shot in self-defense. But, there are doubts about these statements of the suspected author, since the main track is that of controlling the territory for drug trafficking.
