The ongoing investigations into former officials of the Drenova prison in Korça, who allowed the entry of Kosovar model Ziza Pajaziti for a special meeting with life-sentenced prisoner Laert Haxhiu, have also brought to light a significant fact.
A month ago, the Korça prosecution administered a document from the Drenova prison directorate to the investigation file, indicating that Ziza Pajaziti had been living with Laert Haxhiu during the time he was outside the prison premises.
The document is a notarial declaration that has legal value and was submitted a short time ago to the Drenova Prison Directorate and was then administered by the Korça prosecutor's office.
Through this document, Ziza Pajaziti claimed to have entered prison as Laert Haxhiu's cohabitant, which is legally permissible.
This fact may lead to the dismissal of the criminal case against the former prison director, Fatjon Fasho, and the former chief of police of this prison, Sokol Kaçoli, in the future.
Meanwhile, the Kosovar model herself, Ziza Pajaziti, who in 2025 was involved in the scandal of VIP girls entering high-security prisons, has not been found by the Korça police and prosecutor's office for more than a year.
Ziza Pajaziti was one of the VIP girls who, on June 12, 2025, managed to enter the High Security Prison, Drenova, to have a special meeting with Laert Haxhiu, sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder in Lushnje of Zamir Latifi and Jurgen Hoxha.
As part of this investigation, the Korça prosecution has been seeking to question Kosovar model Ziza Pajaziti for almost 3 months, in order to clarify the circumstances of her imprisonment as the wife of life-sentenced Vladimir Kurti.
But in fact she met with Laert Haxhiu.
The Korça Prosecution Office, which is pursuing the case in question, has requested information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the location of Ziza Pajaziti's residential address in Tirana in order to send a summons to appear for questioning.
Up to this stage, no person has been charged with "Abuse of Office" for the placement of girls in prison, who receive special meetings with life-sentenced prisoners.
The complaint that initiated this case was filed by the Korça Prosecutor's Office by the General Directorate of Prisons, which requested criminal prosecution for "Abuse of office" against the former director of Drenova prison, Fatjon Fasho, and the former chief of police of this prison, Sokol Kaçoli./Syri.net
