The information sent by citizens did not help the state police to discover the location of 36-year-old Saimir Xhafa, who wounded Agim Jazaj with a firearm on the first day of the year.
The police suspect that the perpetrator and the victim had previous acquaintances, and while the reason for the conflict is still unknown, because the witness has not yet been administered to the injured.
The State Police has not yet managed to discover the location of 36-year-old Saimir Xhafa, suspected of injuring 51-year-old Agim Jazaj. This event happened on January 1 near the Xhura mosque in Tirana.
During the inspection of the author's car, the investigators of crimes against life did not find any illegal items, nor did they find any illegal items in his apartment in the "Priest's Hill" area.
The sources told "Ora News" that so far the injured man has not given evidence to the investigators as his health condition is not stable.
But from the other evidence administered, the fact that there was previous acquaintance between the two persons was revealed.
On the day of the event, sources say the two were at the Xhura mosque, where the security cameras show the fact that they communicate remotely with each other.
After that, the first to leave the mosque was 51-year-old Agim Jazaj, where, after finishing the ritual, he stayed for a few minutes on the benches of the mosque.
Then the author Saimir Xhafa came out of the mosque where according to the police the conflict did not continue, but in an area not covered by security cameras.
According to the police, the 36-year-old perpetrator went to the 51-year-old man with a gun in his hand, where he first shot on the asphalt, shooting erratically.
After these shootings and the verbal fight, the author pointed the gun at Agim Jazaj, shooting him 3 times.
After the shooting, he left with the crime weapon, while the injured was given first aid by the person who was near the incident.
The police have distributed two photos of the author, for which they are seeking information from citizens in order to identify him.
