The author of the wounding of Agim Jazajt, Saimir Xhafa, outside the Xhura mosque in Tirana on the first day of the New Year, had long had conflicts with the wounded man.
Sources indicate that Agim Jazaj insulted and bullied Xhafa all the time, especially during the time before or after praying in the mosque.
On the day of the event, according to the testimonies of the witnesses, there was a conflict between them first inside the premises of the mosque and then the situation got completely out of control outside, where Saimir Xhafa took the pistol and shot 3 times in the direction of Jazaj, they left him wounded in the stomach.
Investigators have not yet interrogated the injured as he was unable to testify. His testimony would help investigators to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
Meanwhile, the author Saimir Xhafa has not yet been located by the police to be arrested. Several checks have been made in search of him, but so far he has not been found.
