
New details have emerged regarding the mafia assassination in the city of Lezha, where 65-year-old Gjovalin Prendi, the father of Roan Brahimi, alias (Sidorel Prendi), who was executed on May 9, 2024 in Athens, was killed.
The 65-year-old was reportedly in his bar in the village of Pllanë, Lezha, drinking coffee when unidentified individuals shot him with a barrage of bullets, seriously wounding him.
His family then rushed to take him to the hospital by private car, but Gjovalin Prendi was unable to survive his injuries and unfortunately died on the way to the hospital.
The assassination appears to have been carried out by hired killers, given the manner of the perpetrators, who fled in an unknown direction. In the meantime, the police are expected to issue a statement and provide more details regarding the incident.
