New details have come to light regarding the assassination attempt that occurred this evening in the city of Lezha, where 64-year-old Gjovalin Prendi, the father of Roan Brahim alias Sidorel Prendi, lost his life.
According to sources from preliminary investigations, it is suspected that two vehicles and at least four people, aged around 30-35, were involved in the incident.
The perpetrators, who are believed to have used a Porsche Cayenne, opened fire on the victim before quickly fleeing the scene, along with the other vehicle accompanying them.
At the time of the attack, Prendi was in a bar, along with another person, who fortunately escaped without injury.
The perpetrators' two vehicles approached the main entrance of the bar, and one of them opened fire from the front door towards the table where the victim was sitting.
Police are continuing investigations to identify and apprehend the perpetrators, while the area has been cordoned off to collect further evidence.
