Journalist Etmond Guri spoke about the serious incident that happened the day before, where Enkelejda Danaj was brutally killed by her 50-year-old husband Eduart Danaj.
The journalist said that unfortunately in recent years domestic violence has increased significantly in Greece and although the victim had denounced her husband at least 3 times he was still released and committed the macabre act.
"The incident in its occurrence is truly macabre, since the author executed his ex-wife with 6 knives, and in the end he left the knife stuck in her stomach and left her in place. They lived close to each other. His house is very close to the victim, whom he waited for, argued fiercely, and in the morning he executed his ex-wife.
"They were married by paper, he was reported to the police at least three times and three times the prosecutor dismissed the case and released the perpetrator. The latter, having arguments with his wife, who had decided to divorce him, took this extreme decision, taking his own life," said the journalist.
