An unusual incident occurred this afternoon in neighborhood no. 2 of the city of Kukës, where a citizen is suspected of endangering the safety of employees and customers of a mobile phone company store.
The police report that at around 15:33, citizen K. Sh., 49 years old, resident of Kukës, entered the store premises and poured a quantity of gasoline, calling on those present to immediately leave the building.
Thanks to the quick response of citizens and timely notification, the Police services immediately arrived at the scene and made it possible to neutralize the perpetrator, who was accompanied to the Kukës Police Station for further procedural actions.
Currently, the investigative group is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and to legally document the actions taken by the 49-year-old.
