An Albanian was arrested on Friday in the area of Alexandria in Italy, as he is suspected of being part of the cocaine and cannabis traffic in the area.
During police surveillance, he was seen several times entering a house in the Pista Vecchia neighborhood of Alexandria, and during the afternoon he was filmed throwing several bags of garbage.
The police first checked the contents of what was thrown in the trash by the Albanian. There he found the presence of residues from the packaging of a large block of cocaine.
During the immediate checks in the Albanian's apartment, 540 grams of cocaine and 180 grams of hashish were found.
The narcotic substance was seized as material evidence.
During the controls, the officers noticed that the house was empty and "therefore, it was used only for drug storage.
Also, 14,000 euros in cash were found in the apartment, which is suspected to have come from the activity of drug distribution.
The arrested person has been transferred to the Don Soria prison in Alessandria, awaiting the decisions of the justice bodies.
