The Brussels police are seeking more detailed information from the Albanian police regarding the incident in Schaarbeek where the 44-year-old was injured by Mirdita Agustin Kaza.
Investigators are linking the incident in question to an old feud that the Kaza family has with the Gjini family.
Regarding this case, the local directorate has launched an action related to finding the members of the Gjini family.
From the verifications carried out in Mirdita, it turned out that none of the people of this family is located in Rrëshen or its surroundings, but they have been identified as living in the area of Lezha and Tala.
In order to prevent possible criminal events and to stop the saga of blood feud, the police has engaged the forces of FNSH for more frequent checks in the areas where the members of the Gjini family live.
The saga of blood feud started in 1994 when the Chief of Crime Ndue Kaza was killed in Rrëshen. According to the press of that time, the police have identified Dod Gjin as the perpetrator.
But 3 years after this event and without an agreement between the families for a reconciliation, the brother of the murdered commissioner took revenge by killing the two brothers Dod and Agustin Gjini.
Commissioner Martin Kaza's brother was sentenced by the court to 22 years in prison, but he managed to escape by living in London.
According to reports, the person shot in Brussels turns out to be Martin's brother./ Ora News
