Who is Valter Bami, arrested for the assassination in Larushk?
Valter Bami was arrested for carrying weapons without a permit, after the assassination attempt by Gentian Bejtjas in the village of Larushk in Kruja.
We remind you that as a result of this assassination, Gentian Bejtja's brother-in-law, Ramazan Sina, was killed and his two minor children were injured.
On the other hand, we remember that Valter Bami is not an unknown name to the police, as he is known for a number of criminal records.
During the interrogation at the Police Directorate of Tirana, Bami stated that he was staying at home when the incident happened. However, police sources inform that according to investigative actions, the 37-year-old shot that night.
Evidence of gunpowder marks was made in an electronic microscope, which was decisive for issuing the arrest warrant for Bam. The trace of gunpowder was found on his wrist. So far, there is only one charge against him, that of "carrying weapons without a permit".
