The court released yesterday Fatmir Tarellari, the 50-year-old who killed his brother-in-law, after suspicions that he had been raping his daughter for years.
In a telephone connection for the show 'Me sezë i Hapur', his cousin, Astriti, told how the Tarellari family welcomed the court's decision to release the 50-year-old.
He said that there can be no joy, due to the fact of the magnitude of the event, as a sign of respect for the Pelivani family. He said that Fatmiri is crushed, since his daughter has been abused for years, while he emphasized that his cousin never wanted to kill his brother-in-law, Erjon Pelivani.
"I communicated. Having gone through a rather difficult period, this is not a satisfactory situation for him. The situation for us is difficult, to respect the other party as well, as there is no joy for us either. I communicated with Fatmir and his sisters. Their condition is not satisfactory, they feel the discomfort of suffering. Fatmir has been killed continuously. His child was 'poisoned' and the situation when he committed the murder was emotional and unwanted. We cannot say whether he is satisfied or not, as there is suffering in the family. As long as there is suffering in the family, there can be no peace. The situation is not calm. The girl is being monitored by a psychologist. Fatmir did not want to kill his brother-in-law, but that was the situation. I know Fatmir's psychology, he is not a murderer. He took the money, but we don't know how many times," he said.
