The Special Court rejects the request of Fran Marashi, who requested to be released from the harsh 41 biss regime, where he has been held in isolation since December 13, 2024, by decision of Justice Minister Ulsi Manja.

The decision was given by Judge Erjon Bani in this Wednesday's session at 10:00.

Fran Marashi was sentenced by the Special Anti-Corruption Court last month to life imprisonment as a person involved in the Vajgurore Bridge massacre of June 17, 1997, where 4 police officers were killed and 6 others were injured.

The serious incident of that time was retried again in the Special Anti-Corruption Court after the case was returned by the Supreme Court.

In addition to Fran Marashi, Musa Protoduari and Shkëlqim Protoduari were also sentenced to life imprisonment, as well as several other people with 25 years in prison.
