Convicted of murder, the name of the Albanian who is expected to be extradited from Italy is revealed

Interior Minister Tulant Balla, during the interview with DP deputy Ervin Salianji today in Parliament, announced that Shkëlqim Cakoni has been arrested in Italy.

Balla announced that he is expected to be extradited to Albania in the coming days.

Cakoni, in cooperation with citizen Edmond Pulaj, shot dead Mark Rrika, after an argument for weak motives.

The Court of the Kurbin Judicial District with decision no. 8 dated 19.01.2005 has sentenced Cakon to 18 years in prison for committing the criminal offenses "Murder with intent" committed in cooperation and "Carrying weapons without a permit" provided for by articles 76-25 and 278/ 2 of the Criminal Code. 

During the interview with Salianj, Balla announced that another Albanian citizen has been arrested in Spain and he is awaiting extradition.
