Malvina Koçi, 34 years old, was arrested this Friday by the Tirana Police after being accused of fraud.
The young woman was removed as an employee of the Cadastre and had promised a citizen that he would legalize his property. Koçi was caught in the act while receiving a lot of new 450 thousand Lek from the defrauded citizen.
"During the investigation period, it was proven that the 34-year-old woman, who was arrested in the act while taking the injured, the amount of 450,000 ALL, had deceived this citizen that she was an employee of the Cadastre, as well as that she would legalize and register the ownership of an object", announced the police.
In connection with this case, a 41-year-old man with the initials JM has also been declared wanted. He is accused of being an accomplice of Koç. The police are continuing the work to capture him.
Meanwhile, the police have not stopped the investigation yet as they are trying to identify other people who may have been involved in this case.
Therefore, Malvina Koçi is charged with several charges, among them, "Fraud", with serious consequences, "Forgery of documents" and "Appropriation of state title or office".
