One of the people wanted for the murder of the Mujeci couple has reacted publicly, denying any involvement in the serious incident.
In his testimony to "News 24", Besnik Kolndreu states that he has no connection to the event, adding that he learned about the crime through the media.
One of the vehicles involved in the incident was found in his apartment, but the 40-year-old claims that at the time of the assassination he was on his way to Montenegro, where he works, together with his family. The 40-year-old emphasizes that the suspects entered the premises themselves without his knowledge.
"I read about the murder of the Mujeci couple online. The suspects opened the gate themselves. At the time of the incident, I was on my way to Montenegro with my wife and children because I have been working and living here for 6 years when my wife, watching on TikTok, said to me: oh God, what happened... they killed the Mujeci couple and that's where I learned about the murder. Now I want to tell you something... I am 40 years old.. I worked for 25 years so that in my 40s I managed to start a construction company.. those who know me know well what hardship. How can someone in this situation like me destroy my family, business, myself, children, and fall into blood for another tribe that are neither Kolndreaj nor my uncles, nor my brothers, nor my cousins," said the 40-year-old.
Beshnik Kolndreu expresses concern that the inclusion of his name in this matter could expose him to potential conflicts, including the risk of blood feuds.
"My entire family is being destroyed... the future of my children. My work and all the hard work of all these years, plus they want to get me into a blood feud with a family with whom we have never had the slightest problem. Therefore, I beg the state to look at our case with detail and professionalism because here it is not only the state and the prison where they want to put me without any guilt, but also blood, and we do not want to get into a blood feud with anyone without owing us and without owing you," he said.
