A serious event shocked the country today, after 19-year-old Hygerta Meta killed her father Pëllumb Meta with a gun.
The victim's wife and her two sons are under investigation. It is learned that the young woman killed her father with a pistol.
The young woman stated to the police that her father forced her to get engaged against her will.
The murder happened on February 13, and the 50-year-old Pëllumb Meta was buried for 10 days in the yard of the apartment.
4 days after receiving the complaint, the police first found the 50-year-old's car parked on the Shënavlash-Sektor Rinia road axis.
At this point, under the suspicion that Pëllumb Meta had disappeared, the police intensified their investigations and managed to secure evidence that actually showed that he had been murdered.
According to the police, she has admitted the serious crime and stated that apart from insisting on getting engaged, the parties also had other family conflicts. The police say that in-depth investigations are continuing to identify and bring to justice other persons who may be involved in this event. Meanwhile, the body of the 50-year-old man was exhumed from his home and transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, for further expertise.
