A gun attack recorded this afternoon in Balldre, Lezha, where two people were killed, is suspected to be related to blood feud motives.
Unidentified individuals fired a volley of shots this afternoon at an Audi vehicle that was moving at the time of the attack. As a result of the shooting, two people lost their lives, specifically Kreshnik Mujeci and his wife.
The main line of investigation is that of blood feud. This is related to the past of the victim Kreshnik Mujeci, who turns out to have been involved in a serious criminal incident that occurred on October 6, 2016 in the village of Mali i Jushit, in Shkodra.
In that case, Genc Mhillaj was shot dead, while authorities later arrested two brothers, Lin and Kreshnik Mujeci, as suspects in the murder. According to official police data at the time, the victim was shot after a conflict, while the perpetrators fled the scene.

On 06.10.2017, the structures of the Serious Crimes Sector of the Lezha Local Police Directorate in cooperation with the Tirana Police Headquarters, after a well-organized work, based on information obtained through police channels, have successfully finalized the operation codenamed "One Year".
As a result, it was possible to locate and capture 2 wanted persons, specifically the following citizens:
- Lin Mujeci, 38 years old, resident of Torovicë - Lezha
- Kreshnik Mujeci, 30 years old, resident of Torovicë - Lezha
These 2 citizens (brothers) are suspected of being the perpetrators of the murder of citizen GM, an event that occurred on 06.10.2016, in the village of Mali i Jushit in Shkodër.
For these citizens, the Shkodra Judicial District Prosecution Office has issued a Prohibition Order for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder" committed in collaboration with "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Military Weapons and Ammunition" provided for by Articles 78-25, 278/4 of the Criminal Code ", the police announced in 2017.
How did the murder of Genc Mhillaj happen on October 6, 2016?
The serious incident occurred around 11:00 on Thursday near the village of Mali i Jushit. Genc Mhillaj (Pjetri), 42 years old from Torovica, was shot and killed. The victim, Genc Mhillaj, 42 years old, was driving a pickup truck with license plates AA 609 IV, which was loaded with flour and corn. The victim was walking on the road when Mujeci stopped him and called him to talk.
Near the Mali i Jushi bridge, they clashed with each other and in the midst of the argument, Mhillaj tried to run away, but the perpetrator followed him and fired a pistol at him. As a result, the victim fell to the ground. 42-year-old Genc Mhillaj died immediately after the bullet hit him in the forehead. On the other hand, the perpetrator quickly fled in the direction of Torovica.
