A clash between prisoners in the "Koridhalo" prison in Greece ended with two injured.
It was a 28-year-old with Albanian citizenship who shot several times with a knife at the 52-year-old with Albanian citizenship, whose name is Andrea Kalemi from Tepelena. The incident happened when the victim was preparing to leave the prison to gain freedom.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he was given first aid. A craft knife and a telephone were found in the perpetrator's hand. He will be sentenced for attempted murder.
The event happened 2 days ago while it would be classified as a banal fight between two prisoners if the victim was not Andrea (Adriatik) Kalemi, the person who on August 9 this summer was shot on the island of Paxos where he was with his family .
He was able to escape his injuries and was kept in the notorious Greek prison after having accounts with the Hellenic justice system.
After the completion of the procedures and terms of the punishment given to him by the Greek justice, Kalemi was preparing to leave Greece to return to Albania as a free man.
He was involved in the saga of crimes related to the execution of businessman Edmond Papa from Saranda, and it is suspected that it is precisely people from this family who wanted to eliminate him for the second time within the year.
He is the first cousin of Aleksandar Sadikaj, who is said to have been executed by the Pope's men for a botched drug deal.
The confrontation between the two gangs, once allies in drug trafficking, has resulted in several deaths and injuries, while it seems that it is not over yet.
Adriatik Kalemi left Greece on Saturday, December 16 without any restrictive measures from both Greece and Albania. Edmond Papa was killed on December 16, 2022, while the wounding in Koridhalos happened on the eve of his year, on December 15.
