A 34-year-old man internationally wanted for murder has been arrested in Tirana by the Special Operations Forces.
34-year-old imcialet A. Sh, was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Manchester, after the North Kent Court in the United Kingdom, by decision dated January 15, 2026, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Murder", according to British criminal legislation.
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with British authorities, is continuing the procedures for the extradition of the 34-year-old to the United Kingdom.

The services of the Special Operations Force Directorate of the Criminal Police Department, in continuation of the investigative work to locate and capture internationally wanted persons, based on the information provided, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Operation 81".
As part of the operation, in the city of Tirana, it was possible to locate, identify and detain the internationally wanted person, citizen A. Sh., 34 years old, resident of Domje, Tirana.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Manchester, after the North Kent Court in the United Kingdom, on 15.01.2026, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Murder", according to the criminal legislation of the United Kingdom.
"Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with British authorities, is continuing the procedures for the extradition to the United Kingdom ," the police announced.
