
An Albanian citizen internationally wanted for property destruction with explosives has been extradited from Spain to Albania.
According to the police, thanks to the cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Madrid, the procedure for the extradition of citizen Robert Isaku, 48 , who was wanted by Albanian justice, was finalized.
According to the authorities, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër has sentenced the 48-year-old to the security measure of "prison arrest" for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property with explosives", which has led to serious material consequences.
He is accused of having placed explosives in an "Audi" vehicle, owned by citizen FT, on the evening of June 29, 2018, which was used by the owner of a car wash in Bulqiza, citizen TT, where the explosion occurred.
No one was injured in the explosion, but material damage was caused to the targeted vehicle and the surrounding area.
"The operation codenamed "The Wanted" continues, to bring internationally wanted citizens to justice.

As a result of the continuous cooperation between Interpol Tirana specialists and Interpol Madrid specialists, during this phase of the international operation codenamed "The Wanted", the procedure for the extradition from Spain to Albania of RI citizen, 48 years old, was finalized.
This citizen was wanted internationally, because the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër has assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property with explosives", with serious material consequences.
Citizen RI is accused of having, on the evening of 29.06.2018, detonated with explosives an "Audi" vehicle owned by citizen FT and used by the owner of the car wash where the explosion occurred, citizen TT.
"As a result, there was only material damage ," the police announced.
