The Tirana Court has imposed security measures for the suspects involved in the TNT explosion targeting Oltian Klos' vehicle, an event that occurred on March 10 in the capital.
According to the court's decision, the measure of "prison arrest" has been imposed on Sabah Nuzi, suspected of ordering the assassination. Jurgen Gjonaj, Renato Balla, Kristjan Ahmerama and Eklips Leti have also been sentenced to the same measure.
Meanwhile, Glentjan Kojtari and Dorjan Hamolli have been placed under "house arrest", while Geris Molla has been ordered to "commit to appear".
According to preliminary investigations, the explosion is suspected to have been carried out by remote control, after a quantity of explosives was placed in the vehicle. The prosecution suspects that the incident is related to a possible conflict over drug deals between Sabah Nuzi and the owner of the vehicle, where an unpaid amount of money is suspected to have led to the organization of the attack.
The investigation results in Jurgen Gjonaj being suspected of placing the explosives in the vehicle, while other individuals contributed in various ways, including providing information on the vehicle's movements, supplying explosives, and leaving the scene.
For his part, Sabah Nuzi has denied the accusations, stating that he has no connection to the incident and that the claims against him are unfounded.
