An Albanian in Italy was the target of an assassination attempt with a firearm.
The event took place at night in Acerra in the municipality of Campania.
Still unidentified persons shot at Ilir Kadi, the 40-year-old Albanian, who was riding a bicycle, injuring him, while he is out of danger for life.
Italian media say that the Albanian is known to the authorities, as he was previously arrested as part of a band of robbers.
The carabinieri are working to reconstruct the episode, starting from the scene of the injury. The injured did not give many details about the exact place where the incident happened, but simply stated that he was riding a bicycle when he was shot.
