Amarildo Meta, the youngest son of the Meta family, did not prefer to give explanations to the police officers regarding the fingerprints found in the city of the pistol and the plastic bag that was wrapped in the weapon with which Pëllumb Meta was killed.
The 19-year-old continues to stick to his initial statements, claiming that he was not at home at the time of the crime. He stated that he did not touch the pistol, but that he only helped his brother, Hysen Meta, to hide the car.
"I have nothing to do with my father's murder. I was not at home at the time of the crime, I was at work at the service station. There are also security cameras and you have verified this fact. When I went home, the incident happened. I have no idea how my fingerprints ended up on the gun. I have not touched the pistol at all, neither before nor after the incident. I do not know what to say. I only helped my brother to hide the car. I have nothing to do with the weapon at all", Amarildo Meta declared during the interrogation after the results of the analyzes that came out from the criminalistics laboratory.
