Dax customs officials in France have arrested a couple of Albanians who were found with a large amount of undeclared euros.
The customs officials have stopped the vehicle where the Albanian couple was on the "A63" highway, where they said they were traveling for the weekend from Germany to Madrid, Spain.
Due to suspicions, their vehicle was checked with a sniffer dog, and precisely with his help, a metal part was found in the trunk of the car which had been cut.
Inside it was found a secret place where there were 340 thousand euros of "cash", denominations of 20 and 50. With the suspicion that the money is from drugs, the two Albanians have been arrested while the investigations are continued by the anti-narcotics sector of the judicial police of Bayonne .
