Severe in Lushnja, the 18-year-old ends her life with phototoxin

A serious incident happened in the village of Çukas in Lushnja. It is learned that an 18-year-old had constant conflicts with her 24-year-old husband and as a result ended her life by drinking phototoxin.

According to the police report, the young woman died in the hospital yesterday afternoon.

" Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Lushnje Police Station referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the 24-year-old citizen, resident in the village of Çukas, as it is suspected that due to ongoing conflicts with his wife, an 18-year-old citizen, resident in the village of Fiershegan, she consumed poisonous substances (photoxine) and as a result she died in the hospital yesterday afternoon", the Police announcement states.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
