A 30-year-old man who had become a terror to businesses in Tirana was arrested by Tirana Police as part of the operation codenamed "Method".
Threatening employees with a cutting tool (knife), he allegedly stole daily turnover from 3 entities (2 units of a telephone company and 1 store).
"Immediately after the employee reported to a telephone company unit on Dibra Street that last night, a citizen had stolen her daily allowance after threatening her with a cutting tool (knife), the services of Police Commissariat No. 4 organized the work to identify and bring the perpetrator to criminal responsibility.
As a result of rapid investigative and operational actions, carried out within the framework of Operation "Method", the suspected perpetrator, citizen IB, 30 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested a few hours after the crime was committed. The stolen money and the cutting tool were found on him.
Further verifications suspect that this citizen, using the same method, had stolen daily turnover from 2 entities during December 2025.
Work is underway to uncover other thefts that this citizen may have committed.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the Police announced.
