
The photo of 39-year-old Fatjon Prendi, who was arrested today during a major drug operation by the Greek police in collaboration with the EKAM special forces, is published.
The young Albanian was the head of the criminal group, while authorities discovered a huge amount of drugs in Greece along with an arsenal of weapons, leading to the arrest of 6 people. Among those arrested were women.
Fatjon Prendi is known as the leader of the criminal group, while after him in the hierarchy was 36-year-old Elson Ndreca.
During the search in several areas of Athens and Arcadia, police discovered and seized 1 ton and 161 kg of marijuana, 1,640 cannabis roots, cocaine, synthetic drugs and an arsenal of weapons, including firearms, grenades and combat ammunition. Along with the drugs, police also found counterfeit money in euros, pounds, dollars and Swiss francs.
Along with Fatjon Prendin, Elson Ndreca (36 years old), Brisejda Cami (35), Pashke Gega (73), Zoje Ndoj (35) and Arben Mashi (50), the latter with criminal records for drug trafficking, weapons and participation in a criminal organization, were also arrested. In the apartments and premises used by the group, electronic scales, mobile phones and other tools used for drug distribution were also found. The estimated profit from drug trafficking was worth over 8 million euros./TCH
