Italian police have cracked down on a cocaine trafficking ring in Cremona, arresting two suspects, one of whom is Albanian.
At least 6 kg of high-quality drugs (cocaine, hashish and marijuana), equipment and sums of money were seized as material evidence, while the apartment had been turned into a cocaine laboratory.
The arrested Italian is 34 years old, while the Albanian is 29 years old, who is suspected of supplying the former with goods. Both had previous and filed criminal records. The Albanian had also been charged with property crime, while he was a wanted person.
The police said that in addition to cocaine, they also found hashish and marijuana. During the physical search on the street, small amounts of cocaine, hashish and 1,300 euros in cash were found, while in the apartment, about 5 kg of hashish were discovered, divided into different doses and packages; 250 grams of marijuana-type narcotic substance, divided into different bags; 212 grams of cocaine-type narcotic substance, of which 8 doses were ready for sale and a single 100-gram package still to be divided.
Also a scale for weighing various narcotic substances; a vacuum packaging machine; various packaging materials; 1,325 euros divided into banknotes of various denominations; a mobile phone, found in the man's possession and most likely used for drug trafficking.
