Two people have been arrested by the Librazhd Police after they were caught cultivating narcotic plants in the village of Xhyrë. The two young men, who according to investigations had set up plots in a wooded area of this unit, were arrested.
During the field inspection, officers determined that the suspects had cultivated suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa seedlings, placed on polystyrene platforms, a method used for easy growth and relocation of the plants. The 24 and 26-year-olds were caught red-handed, in the wooded area of this village, where they had cultivated suspected narcotic cannabis seedlings on polystyrene platforms.
"As a result of a proactive investigation carried out by the Librazhd Police Commissariat services, in cooperation with the Elbasan Local Police Directorate services and in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office, to document the criminal activity of 2 citizens, suspected of being involved in the cultivation of narcotic plants, the operation codenamed "First Phase" was carried out."
During this phase of the operation, citizens OL, 24 years old, and RB, 26 years old, both residents of the village of Xhyrë, were arrested.
They were caught red-handed, in the forested area of this village, where they had cultivated suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa seedlings on polystyrene platforms. Controls and investigations within the framework of the anti-cannabis operation "Phase One", continue", the police announced.
