
The police of Tirana has made a call to all Albanian citizens not to be deceived by the messages they receive on their mobile phones, which may entice them financially.
The Blues have published an example of the message and invite all citizens to come to the police offices, if they come across one.
From the continuous monitoring of virtual spaces, in social networks, in order to highlight illegal activities, mainly in the field of cybercrimes, the specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Cybercrimes in DVP Tirana, have found that repeatedly, mainly users who they use "Apple" communication devices, they are sent with iMessage, messages from different iCloud addresses.
The recipients of these messages are promised significant income in foreign currencies, having as a criterion only the use of their mobile device, and the interested persons (authors), invite them to communicate through the "Telegram" application.
Taking into consideration that this activity, the dynamics of which is not yet completely clear, through financial enticement, may take possession of the personal data of Albanian citizens, we inform you to be careful with your data.
If you have received such a message, and you have shared your personal data, or you have been deceived by such activity, we invite you to appear at our offices as well as the police offices of Computer and Cybercrimes in the Local Police Directorates and Directorate for the Investigation of Computer and Cybercrimes in the DPPSH.
