
The police of Fushë Arrëzi have arrested a 25-year-old man, after allegedly cultivating narcotics in the village of Iballe.
In addition, the chairman of the administrative unit, the forest specialist in the area and the chairman of the village of Iballe were acquitted for "abuse of duty".
"In implementation of the plan of measures drawn up within the national mega-operation "Clean Territory", for the attack on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, the identification and capture of the perpetrators, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes of the Puke Police Station, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, they detained the citizen:
This citizen is suspected of cultivating 4520 cannabis sativa narcotic plants, in the village of Iballe, Fushë Arrëz, which were found and destroyed by the Police services on 26.06.2024.
Also, for this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for the citizens: AZ, head of the administrative unit Iballe, IB, forest specialist and DP, head of the village Iballa.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodra General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the police informs.
