
Kruja Police have today arrested a 22-year-old resident of Fushë-Krujë and are investigating 18-year-old MB, who is at large, as part of the police operation 'Krasta'.
The operation was carried out in the framework of preventing and combating cases of cultivation of narcotic plants in the protected area of Krasta.
The police have seized seedlings planted with narcotic plants, without disclosing their quantity.
The police statement states that the two people, both the arrested and the person being prosecuted at large, are suspected of having collaborated to plant cannabis in a wooded area in Krastë.
"The police operation codenamed "Krasta" is being finalized by the Kruja Police Commissariat."

As part of the "Krasta" operation, they arrested citizen Sh. A., 22 years old, and proceeded at large with citizen MB, 18 years old, both residents of the village of Halil, Fushë-Krujë.
These citizens are suspected of having, in collaboration with each other, cultivated the narcotic cannabis sativa plant in a wooded area in the village of Krastë.
Also, following the procedural actions, the vehicle owned by the 22-year-old, who was using it to go to the place where he had cultivated narcotic seedlings, was seized as material evidence.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
