Lawyer Edmond Petraj has spoken about the fourth and last assassination of Gentjan Bejtja.
The former policeman was found dead in the backyard of the house in Larushke, Fushë-Kruja. According to Petraj, this is a hot area and it should have been better monitored by police structures.
He also thinks that the victim "because of his selfishness" did not notify the police. The lawyer even thinks that an insider is "debunking and has been watching him the whole time."
Edmond Petraj: The assassination was carried out four times and even more so because the deceased, due to his own selfishness, did not manage to notify the police structures of what violated him, what hindered him, or what happened, who were the people who were monitoring him . When you go home and see this kind of situation, they kill him at the door of the house, I think there is some kind of deconspiracy and there are people who observed him. So he is a person who has been investigated and an insider is a debunker.
According to Edmon Petraj, the mistakes that are made at the beginning of the first phase of the event are decisive for the continuation of the investigations. He also mentioned the case of Shënavlash, where it is stated that the area of the crime, i.e. the environment of the house had to be kept under surveillance for a certain period, 15 or 20 days.
Edmond Petraj: The mistakes that are made in the first stage of the crime scene, they accompany the entire investigation. If they are collected incorrectly, or an investigation is started incorrectly in directions that do not give effectiveness, you will have this product.
Edmond Petraj: If you look at the case of Durrës, the conservation of the crime area was discussed. Conservation of the environment of the house, the part of the whole house, which had to be kept under surveillance. So she had to be interrogated for a period of 15 or 20 days by the prosecution body.
Dafina Hysa: Is there a legal obligation to do this?
Edmond Petraj: Definitely yes.
