A 29-year-old man was arrested in Tropoja after weapons and drugs were found in his apartment and in his vehicle.
The arrest was made within the coded operation "Dubrava".
The police seized firearms, pistols, military ammunition and cannabis sativa narcotics.
"As a result of intensive checks in the entire territory of the district, to combat criminal activities, the services of the Tropoja Police Station, based on the information provided by the police intelligence, have successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation "Dubrava", as as a result of which the citizen was arrested in the act:
St. M., 29 years old, resident of Bujan village.
During the operation, in the place called "Dubrava", the Police services have stopped for control, the vehicle driven by citizen Rr. M., in which they found 1 firearm, pistol, combat ammunition and a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa.
Following the procedural actions, the Police services, during the search of the 29-year-old's apartment, found another amount of suspected narcotic cannabis, 3 magazines and military ammunition.
Pistols, ammunition, drugs and the vehicle driven by the 29-year-old were seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", according to the police announcement.
