Murdered 39-year-old Albanian man with a knife in Italy, perpetrator released

The perpetrator of the murder of Albanian Bledar Dedja, who was found dead on January 21, 2024 in a forest area on Via Dei Carpini in Pieve del Grappa in Italy, has been released.

The Venice Juvenile Court accepted the request of the author's lawyer to undergo psychological treatment in the community.

The Albanian and the minor, before the incident, had met about a year ago at the workplace where Bledar Dedja worked, and it is suspected that the latter convinced him to have sex in exchange for money.

On the day of the crime, the 17-year-old was captured by several street security cameras in the square in Paderno del Grappa where he was supposed to meet in Bledari.

The two were then filmed as they traveled in the 39-year-old's Mercedes B-Class towards the forest.

After the murder, the boy apparently "discarded" the knife he used to commit the crime, the victim's car keys, and some blood-stained clothes, which were found near the scene.

During the fight with the Albanian, it is suspected that the teenager also suffered knife injuries to his hand.

He then left on foot on Via Dei Carpini, where he was filmed by a second security camera as he hitchhiked to the vehicle (which has been seized for investigation), which took him to the bus station.

At this point, the 17-year-old's trail is lost until he reappears in a hospital emergency room to treat the wounds on his hand.
