A photo of 39-year-old Kreshnik Mujeci , who was killed along with his wife in a shooting in Lezha today, has been published. It is learned that Mujeci was assassinated while he was traveling in his Audi Q7 vehicle.
Kreshnik Mujeci is a well-known name for the State Police, as he has been involved in serious criminal cases in the past along with his brothers, Lin and Jozef Mujeci. They are accused of the murder of Gegë Mëhilli (also known as Gent Mëhilli or Gent Pjetri), an event that occurred on October 6, 2016.
According to the records, Mujeci was arrested in 2017 as an accomplice in a 2016 murder that killed a 47-year-old man. He and his brother are suspected of helping the main perpetrator, now arrested, organize an ambush on the victim.
At that time, the Shkodra Judicial District Prosecutor's Office issued a detention order against them for the criminal offenses of "premeditated murder" in collaboration and "unauthorized production and possession of weapons of war and ammunition."
For the continuation of the procedures, they have been made available to the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, while Jozef Mujeci is in prison for the murder of Mehilli.
