Erion Alibej continued his testimony as a justice collaborator at the Criminal Court of Kosovo, as he recounted his meetings with Suel Çela and Sokol Sanxhaktari (the son-in-law convicted of murdering the late former mayor of Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini).
He has also provided details of investigative importance, according to SPAK, regarding the criminal activity in drug trafficking in Europe by the Çopja brothers.
Alibej said that Hajdar Çopja trafficked “drug horses” from Germany to England and beyond, while his brother, Franci, was based in Tottenham, from where he ran the entire business by phone. Alibej recounted the first difficulties, emigrating to England to his uncle, Arben Dylgjeri, working with drugs to pay off his brother, Endrit, the rise of the Çopja brothers and the activities they carried out.
"When Sueli came to the house with Sokol Sanxhatari, Endriti told me we would meet them because they were for a drug deal, I met Sueli coldly. I insisted on going to England to work, because Endriti had debts and I wanted to help him pay them off, I went by truck, at first I stayed with uncle Arben Dylgjeri, because he had an idea of what kind of work I would do, I was able to get supplies and sell cocaine, but I encountered difficulties getting home, Hajdar Çopja was a very safe road horse transporter, starting from Germany, all the way to Belgium and the Netherlands", the justice collaborator continued his story.
He further recounted how he set up the business there, the debt laundering and the large illegal drug business that the Cops set up in England.
"In England I went to Franc Çopja's house, who lived in Tottenham, he checked the work by phone, I went to a housing agency and got it and started working very well, I managed to pay off a very large debt that Endriti had at the time, I did a good and big job, so much so that I caught attention and my name was mentioned, it was a time of crisis, because there was not much merchandise and many shipments were being intercepted, I worked with many Albanians there, the first one I collaborated with there was a Ylli from Rrogozhina and Klodi from Durres. After some time, an Ilir Lloshi came to England, who was organizing the work for Hajdar and Franc Çopjan, he told me that Franc had a problem with the transport of drug horses and they intercepted a load", Alibej expressed in the GJKKO.
