
A 48-year-old Greek man was taken to Saranda Hospital without signs of life yesterday evening, while the circumstances of the incident still remain unclear.
According to sources, it is reported that the victim, identified as Pavlos Simeriontakis from Athens , was brought to the hospital by several people, who, after leaving him there, immediately left in a white vehicle with Greek license plates.
Security camera footage near the hospital captured the moment of their departure, while police are working to identify and locate the people who accompanied them.
A preliminary examination of the body revealed no signs of violence, and it is suspected that the cause of death may have been cardiac arrest. However, to determine the exact cause, the body will undergo a forensic examination in Tirana.
Authorities are also investigating the reason for the 48-year-old's stay in Saranda, while the full circumstances of the incident remain under investigation.
