Two young men, aged 20 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of murdering an Albanian man in Belgium.
The crime occurred on January 23 in Geel, Belgium, where Marko Beka, 45, was shot dead.
The identities of the arrested are not disclosed, while the murder of the Albanian remains a mystery and it is expected that the interrogation of the arrested will shed more light on the incident. The Belgian prosecution has stated that the motive for the crime and who committed the fatal shooting are still unknown. In the meantime, the court is expected to decide whether or not the two arrested will remain in custody.
The crime occurred on Friday evening in Larum, a small village in Geel in the Kempen region, where the Albanian was found by police services.
The Albanian worked as a taxi driver and was the father of 3 children.
