Doctor Edvin Prifti has left the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK after more than 3 hours. It is known that the doctor was informed of the accusations brought against him for money laundering and corruption.
We remind you that the Cardiologist was intercepted in the file of the former judge of Kruja, Enkelejda Hoxha, while he was talking to one of the employees of the court.
The investigations against him were started based on the interceptions of the secretary of the Court of Kruja which had started for the release of the convicts but which also revealed corruption in health for the Special Prosecutor's Office.
SPAK informs that from the wiretapping it has been found that the secretary of the Court, Manuela Mallkuçi, gave money to the surgeon Edvin Prifti, in order for the latter to perform an operation on her mother.
According to the Special Prosecutor's Office, Trendafile Frangu and Migena Skenderi, nurses of QSUT, are involved in this illegal scheme.
During the search in the office and in the apartment, the doctors found you and seized large sums of money. SPAK is investigating him on suspicion of money laundering, as well as involvement in the QSUT tender. On the other hand, the Cardiac Surgeon, Edvin Prifti, disputed the charges and stated that the money was all justified.
