The repentant justice Nuredin Dumani testified today (January 16) at the Criminal Court of Kosovo for the murder of Bujar Çela, the brother of his former friend and former collaborator Talo Çela.
Dumani confessed in the trial where he is testifying about the criminal events that were investigated by SPAK as part of the "Golden Bullet" operation, that he participated in the crime with Besmir Xhixha and Enver Diva. Dumani testified that something went wrong with his gun and it did not fire, although he actually had two guns.
"I had two guns. I had one to use in the murder of Bujar Çela, I kept the other as usual for self-defense and did not use it in the incident. I tried to shoot Bujar, but the gun did not fire. I told Xhixha to shoot because it was not firing at me. I did not use the second gun because I did not want to get it dirty," Dumani is reported to have stated.
We recall that Bujar Çela was murdered on September 17, 2020, while the repentant justice official indicates that the cause was the murder of his friend Klevis Kapllani, which was suspected to have been committed by Talo Çela and the Manhasa brothers.
Dumani says that he, along with Enver Diva and Besmir Xhixha, after receiving information from Eljo Bitri, headed towards Bujar Çela's house, but were unable to carry out the execution there, as they were spotted by a person they did not know, and they left.
But from the information he had, he knew that Bujari was drinking coffee at a bar where buses leaving for Greece stopped, and as soon as he saw him, Enver Diva headed towards him, shooting at Bujari, but he was still alive.
At this moment, Dumani approaches, who takes out the pistol that Talo Çela had given him as a gift, but it did not fire, so he asked Besmir Xhixha to get out of the car and shoot Bujar with a 9 mm pistol.
After the murder, they fled towards Fushë-Krujë where they burned the car they had used to commit the murder, while throwing the weapons into a canal in Plepa in Durrës.
Dumani is causing 'high tensions' with his testimonies in the GJKKO as a repentant SPAK member, mentioning details such as the bar where politicians used to go or the recent statement that in order to get out of prison in 2014 when he was arrested for hostage-taking, he was helped by the son-in-law of the brother of the former Minister of Justice at the time, now MP Nasip Naço, while the latter called it a fraud to damage his image and requested an investigation by the judiciary.
