A 59-year-old man was placed in handcuffs after he lit a fire to burn the garbage, and due to the strong wind, the flames spread, burning several olive trees and endangering 5 apartments.
The event took place on Sunday, July 28, in the place called "Rrethrotullimi i Shkoza".
"The fire allegedly started by M. Rr., 59 years old, resident of the village of Kllojkë, Tirana, has spread over an area of about 5000 m2, has burned several olive trees and endangered 5 apartments ," the police announcement states.
The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecution, for the criminal offense "Destruction of property by fire".
