In an international search for drug trafficking, the 28-year-old was arrested in Lezha

A 28-year-old Albanian man was handcuffed by the police in Lezhë. He has been internationally wanted for drug trafficking.

The 28-year-old A.Ll, born in Puka in 2023, has been assigned by the Court of Bologna the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Trafficking of narcotics", committed in the framework of a criminal organization.

During the month of November 2022, this citizen was part of a criminal organization that was involved in the trafficking of strong drugs such as cocaine and heroin, from Belgium to Italy.

Cooperation continues between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, to extradite this citizen to Italy.
