A colleague activated the machine/ The details of how the 26-year-old Albanian

Anila Grishaj was 26 years old and was the point of reference for "Bocon", the well-known frozen food company from Pieve di Soligo, in the province of Treviso. In fact, she had been a line driver for a year, until Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m., when her head got stuck in a freight packing machine, crushing her cervical vertebrae. Nothing could be done for the young Albanian woman and she died immediately.

The first investigations showed that the tragedy was caused by human error. According to investigative sources and the findings of the Hospital and the police, the girl was engaged in some checks about a new machine that had disabled her. But a colleague activated it unintentionally, without realizing its presence. The employee is now under investigation for manslaughter or negligence while the car has been impounded.

Anila lived in Vergoman, a village of Miana, together with her parents Agosti and Marjana, sister and younger brother. The family, who were expecting the twenty-six-year-old for dinner, learned of the accident from the news, immediately rushing to the company. The victim was a beautiful girl of Albanian origin, with long curly brown hair and a smile always on her face. She was very close to the family with whom she often traveled: one of their last photos seen on social media was actually taken in front of the Colosseum in Rome. She was passionate about photography and a few years ago she participated in a competition dedicated to wine. Anila had attended the Valdobbiadene tourism institute and in 2018 was hired by Bocon, in a stimulating work environment where she could develop both professionally and as a person.

After the accident, the company canceled the event "Strada del Prosecco a widespread museum" that was supposed to be held on Thursday and the shutters of the restaurant

Next to the factory will remain closed until Monday, November 20. On Wednesday morning a message of condolence about the death was published on Bocon's Facebook page and the employers said they were ready to clarify the accident: “We are deeply broken, saddened and in disbelief at the very heavy loss that has befallen us. We were very close to Anila, who had been with us for some time and who was highly valued for her human and professional qualities. We know our pain is nothing compared to what her parents and those closest to her are going through. We are at your complete disposal for the complete clarification of the causes of the accident".
