Anti-drug operation in Tirana/ The names of 15 arrested people are revealed;

Police seize drugs, weapons and money from anti-drug operation in Tirana. Meanwhile, 15 out of 36 arrest warrants are executed, while 16 people are wanted.

Tirana Police, in cooperation with the Prosecution, has finalized the operation codenamed "Final", targeting several criminal groups involved in the sale of narcotics in various areas of the capital.

According to the official announcement, a total of 36 people have been identified, who operated as individuals or in structured groups, distributing various types of drugs.

As part of the operation, 15 security measures "arrest with imprisonment" have been executed against persons suspected of being active members of these groups. Meanwhile, authorities indicate that work continues to capture 16 other wanted persons.

Specifically, the following citizens have been arrested: Arsen Shahollari, Ilir Baruti, Visar Alla, Xhemal Gjoka (Boja), Jurgent Ibrahimi, Ermond Osmani, Aljon Çezma, Abdulla Gega, Klevin Nika, Albi Çela, Saimir Duraj, Edison Mera, Eris Hoxha, Emra Idrizi and Glerjan Hoxhalli.

During the investigation phase, 5 other citizens were arrested, suspected of involvement in this criminal activity.

During physical and residential searches, the police seized: 60 kg and 300 grams of Cannabis Sativa, 2 kg and 50 grams of cocaine, 4 weapons (1 pistol and 3 shotguns), 121 thousand euros, 60 million lek and 5000 pounds. 14 mobile phones, electronic scales and 3 vehicles.

Authorities emphasize that the operation is part of a broader investigation to fully document the criminal activity. The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.

"After 3 months of investigations, the police operation codenamed "Final" is being finalized by the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office. 

Several groups selling narcotics were targeted.   

36 citizens, members of groups, who, individually or in groups, sold narcotics of various types, were identified.

The security measure "Arrest in prison" is being executed for 15 members of the group. Meanwhile, work continues to capture 16 others.    

5 citizens were arrested during the investigation period.

As part of the operation, 60 kg and 300 grams of Cannabis Sativa, 2 kg and 50 grams of Cocaine, 4 weapons (1 pistol and 3 shotguns), 121,000 euros, 60 million lek, 5,000 pounds, mobile phones and other illegal items were seized.    

As a result of intensive investigative work carried out over 3 months, the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Tirana Prosecution Office, has finalized the operation codenamed "Final", to crack down on several groups that were selling narcotics.

During the operation, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed for 15 citizens who were carrying out this criminal activity, specifically:  

-A. Sh., 31 years old; IB, 66 years old; VA, 29 years old; Xh. Gj(B)., 26 years old; JI, 28 years old; EO, 47 years old; A. Ç., 42 years old; AG, 41 years old; KN, 26 years old; AC, 21 years old; SD, 32 years old; EM, 29 years old; EH, 25 years old; EI, 30 years old; GH, 37 years old.

During the physical search of these citizens and the searches in their homes, during the investigation period and during the execution of security measures, the following were found and seized: 60 kg and 300 grams of the suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, 2 kg and 50 grams of the suspected narcotic substance Cocaine, 4 weapons (1 firearm, pistol and 3 shotguns), 121,000 euros, 60 million lek, 5,000 pounds, 14 mobile phones, electronic scales and 3 vehicles.  

During the investigation period, citizens AM, EK, AK, EM and IC were identified and arrested. 

The other 16 citizens identified by the investigations as part of these groups have been declared wanted. Work continues to capture them and fully document this criminal activity. 

"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
